Onsite Hard Drive Erasure
Looking for a way to securely erase e-data, but still retain the physical hard drive? Our secure onsite hard drive erasure service is perfect for business’ that have off-lease equipment, or hard drives for reuse, redeployment or high remarking value.
Utilizing the Guardian Data Destruction state of the art process and erasure equipment we perform complete hard-drive erasure at your location. Our onsite hard drive erasure service includes the following:
- Hard Drive serial number capturing
- Our bonded, certified technician powers up each item and performs 1, 3, 5, or 7-pass DOD overwrite (depending on security requirements)
- A certificate of destruction is provided to confirm data has been removed from hard drives. This includes serial numbers, erasure outcome, and level of erasure
- Up to 400 pieces of equipment can be wiped per day
Third Party Forensic Audits
Guardian Data Destruction's internal audit process requires an annual third party forensic audit of its disk sanitization process for effectiveness, thoroughness and graded to meet the DoD specs. The review includes an evaluation of Guardian's data wiping technology and detailed analysis of numerous disk drives wiped using the technology.
Throughout our history all evaluations of our data destruction procedures and audits have met and confirmed compliance with two industry standards: United State Department of Defense 5220.22 and NIST 800-88, described below.
